The University of Public Administration and Finance Ludwigsburg trains students for senior management roles in the public administration of the future. With five Bachelor’s degree programmes, two Master’s degree programmes and two joint degree programmes, the university offers a wide and attractive range of courses.

Studying in small learning groups also facilitates an intensive exchange between lecturers and students. Furthermore, our students on the Bachelor’s programmes are trainee civil servants from the very first semester and receive a trainee’s salary.

Civil servant status

Students on bachelor’s degree programmes hold civil servant status, subject to revocation, from the first semester onwards. They also receive a trainee’s salary of around 1,550 euros gross.

Since October 2017, the University of Public Administration and Finance has been recognised as a family-friendly university and offers a wide range of support to help students balance their studies with family life, as well as their work and family life. The university’s family-friendly initiatives include, amongst other things, the option to study part-time and flexible timetables for courses to accommodate student parents.
