A career as a lecturer
Would you like to share your knowledge and practical experience with the next generation without giving up your current job? Then apply to become a lecturer at our university!
Who are we looking for?
As a university of applied sciences, we are constantly looking for lecturers from a wide range of subject areas. To be eligible for a teaching post, you should meet the following criteria:
- Academic qualifications in the relevant subject (usually a completed university degree)
- Relevant practical experience spanning several years
- A passion for teaching and working with young people
What can you expect?
In consultation with the relevant module coordinators for each subject area, you will be responsible for delivering lectures, seminars or research projects. The focus here is on practical knowledge transfer. When planning timetables, we try to take our lecturers’ needs into account to enable you to balance this work with your career.
In addition to teaching modules, you may be asked to supervise students whilst they are writing their Bachelor’s theses. Setting and marking written examinations or conducting other forms of assessment may also form part of your teaching duties.
