Master Programme European Public Administration (Europäisches Verwaltungsmanagement) (MEPA)
The European Public Administration interdisciplinary master programme is a cooperation programme of the University of Applied Sciences Ludwigsburg and the University of Applied Sciences Kehl. The programme provides students with a thoroug understanding of the administrative, legal and social structures of the European Union.
The first semester takes place at the University of Ludwigsburg, where the students learn the basics of European law, politics and economics. In the second semester at the University of Kehl, the focus is on different policy fields and administrative systems within the European Union. In both semesters, languages and intercultural communication are also key subjects. The 6-month-internship abroad takes place in the thrid semester. In the fourth semester, the students write their master thesis at either the University of Ludwigsburg or the University of Kehl.
Graduates receive a Master of Arts degree in European Public Administration that is recognised throughout Europe. They have excellent career opportunities in local governments, the state and federal administration, EU institutions, international organisations, NGOs and institutions of cross-border cooperation, trade organisations and large private companies.

Master Programme Public Management (MPM)
The Public Management master programme is a part-time programme qualifying graduates for senior management positions in the public sector. The programme aims at working professionals in public administration and non-proft organisations and can be combinedwith a full-time job, as the courses usually take place on Fridays and Saturdays.
the master programme takes the current challenges in public administration into account and prepares students for positions such as team leader, project manager, heam official, chief executive or mayor. In individual modules, the students learn about leadership, public financing, governance and the legal framework for administrative work. The programme combines various learning formats including self-studies, workshops, lectures and practical experience.
