Applied Research

The Institute for Applied Research (Institut für Angewandte Forschung, IAF) is the central research institution of the University of Applied Sciences Ludwigsburg. The academic staff focus their research efforts on good governance, taxation, and the transformation of public administration under the current trends of migration and digitisation. The IAF is active in the field of both basic research and research oriented towards issues relevant for public policy and administration. Researchers also work regularly as consultants for the state, municipalities and public enterprises on a variety of issues including law, finance, human resources, organisation and business.
